The Griffin Police Department (GPD) on Monday at about 10 p.m. responded in emergency mode to an apartment at 146 Spalding St. in reference to a person being stabbed.

At the scene, officers made contact with 49-year-old Bonnie Gresham, who stated that she had stabbed her boyfriend, 51-year-old James Moncrief, in the chest with a knife. Asked where Moncrief was, Gresham said he had run out the back door when he heard police sirens and jumped over the fence in the back yard.
