Two busted for selling pot

Two Griffin men were arrested Tuesday for selling pot along North Expressway.

On Tuesday the Spalding County Sheriff’s Department Special Operations Division conducted an investigation that resulted with the arrest in the parking lot Payless Shoes on 1577 North Expressway. Arrested were Archie Vaughn, 25, and Cornelius Rogers, 21, both of 1938 E. McIntosh Road, Griffin.

According to Sheriff Wendell Beam both men have been charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and sale of marijuana.

Both men are being held in the Spalding County Detention Center.
