One was arrested on scene Thursday and a second was arrested Friday. Police are still looking for the third suspect who has been identified as Tony Lamar Parks Jr., 21, of 4000 Jackson Road, Griffin. Parks is described as a black male, 6 feet, 1 inch and 200 pounds.
All three suspects face armed robbery and aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer charges.
On Dec. 8, agents from the Griffin Police Department Special Investigations Unit (SIU), with assistance from the Georgia Bureau of Investigations and a narcotics agent from the Pike County Sheriff’s Office, conducted a “buy/bust” operation in which a confidential informant was going to buy a trafficking amount of crack cocaine.
