Griffin Police Department officers were dispatched to Apartment A of Heritage Apartments on Anne Street Saturday evening in reference to a domestic dispute in progress.

When GPD officers arrived at the scene at about 7:50 p.m., they heard what sounded like an altercation coming from the back of the apartment complex. As they got closer to the scene, they noticed “a vehicle spinning tires, several people yelling and two or three noises, which sounded like a vehicle striking an object,” according to a GPD incident report.
