The four candidates for the Sept. 20 special election to complete the term of the late Dee Stewart have agreed to attend, said Jesse Maddox of the Spalding County Democratic Party. The forum will take the place of the monthly meeting of the Spalding County Democratic Party.
The event will be held at the Spalding County Courthouse Annex, Room 108, starting at 7 p.m., and it is open to the public, as are the monthly meetings, Maddox said.
Light refreshments will be served at the completion of the forum, Maddox said, to give voters time to speak to the candidates.
