• It would be nice if our school system would have an open house on separate days for elementary, middle and high schools so that teachers who are also parents could attend with their children instead of having a friend, or a grandparent, such as myself, take them. I understand that some other counties already do this.

• The U.S. women’s soccer team choked in the World Cup final against Japan, like a cat throwing up a big hairball. But no one in the media will criticize them, because they are women and they are sensitive.

Regarding the nothing much to do in San Jose comment, I started looking for housing in Spalding and determine if I wanted to move there about a year ago. My company was going to build a solar manufactoring site in you're area. I found this little "Gem" of a site and have been reading it ever since. One question, who is "miss Arnold"? Learn to spell and complete a sentence before you criticize.

Looking4ahome: There's not much to do in San Jose, CA is there? As far as entertainment goes I mean? If you have to find your entertainment in a small town website all the way across on the other side of the US. The truth is we see a lot of entertainment from CA over here in GA. I'm not talking about entertainment from Hollywood either. We do miss Nancy (We have to pass the bill so we'll know what's in it.) so much but we'll manage to get by somehow without her to entertain us. We do so miss Arnold to. Not the (What you talkin' about little Arnold from TV) but the one ya'll had for governor. Did he ever learn English? Yes, ya'll have lost a lot of your entertainment and I could go on and on. It's no wonder you'd have to turn to our little ole town for some humor.

In my house we have always had a joke that if we wanted to eat at a certain fancy restaurant we would have to stay and do dishes to make up the tab. Which countries are we going to send Obama and our congressmen to first?

I live in San Jose, CA and I visit this site everyday! It has got be be some of the most entertaining material on the internet! I am never let down by some of the people who post opinions on this page. I mean you can't nake this stuff up! I feel like the commentors are so out of touch with reality and have never been anywhere out of the the state of Georgia. Keep up the outlandish comments they really make me appreciate where I live. lol
