The Griffin Board of Commissioners adopted a $100 million budget for fiscal year 2012 on Tuesday.

The actual projected revenue for fiscal year 2012 is $100,368,561, with projected expenses of only $96,781,815, leaving an overall surplus of $3,586,746. Fiscal year 2012 begins July 1.

Commissioner Dick Morrow said the budget is “very tight. There is no fat.”
