Mrs. Dunn was born on Nov. 16, 1949, in Griffin, Ga., to the late Lecie Newman and the late Jewell Malone Newman. She was employed with Apex Self Storage. Mrs. Dunn loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved to travel. She was a member of Living Waters Congregational Holiness Church.
Mrs. Dunn is survived by her husband of 32 years, Troy W. “Bubba” Dunn Jr.; children, Jeffrey B. Allen of Miami, Fla., Jimmy and Jennifer Dunn of Griffin, Heather Pitts of Griffin; grandchildren, Colby Pitts, Austin Dunn, and Garrett Dunn; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Mrs. Cecilia Dunn will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2011, in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. The Rev. Larry Ballard will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends visited the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
