Central Georgia Electric Membership Corp. was reporting late Thursday that 215 of its customers in eight counties were without power. This is down from about 14,000 customers at the height of the storm that hit the area early Tuesday morning.

“At this point, crews are working individual outages and extra crews will be working in these areas until all restoration is complete,” said Central Georgia EMC Director of Marketing Christy Chewning.
