With five days to go until National Signing Day, not much has changed on the local scene.

With five Division I commitments — Xzavier Dickson (Alabama), Corey Moore (Georgia), Nile Daniel (Kentucky), Ty Turner (South Florida) and Chandler Worthy (Troy) — Griffin High continues to be the main story.

Across town at Spalding High, Chris Mayes (Georgia) is also likely to sign, while teammates Zay Sharp and Montae Williams are being courted by Georgia Southern and may also ink on the dotted line Wednesday.

At Griffin Christian, Anthony Lewis, who has also been made an offer by Brevard, will take a trip to Mars Hill College this weekend, while teammate Sheldon Nelms continues to draw interest from Georgia Southern.

WESLEY MAKING TRACKS: SHS cross country and track and field standout Jenna Wesley (University of Alabama-Birmingham) could also ink as early as Wednesday.
