Aamir Morris scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds Friday night to lead the Faith Christian Academy boys basketball team past visiting Ballard Christian 58-39.

The Lions improved to 10-2 on the season with the victory.

Rounding out FCA’s leading players were Robert Jackson (14 points), Kelveyun Newton (12), Brandon Ray (10 points and 4 rebounds) and Willie Kennedy (6 rebounds).

“Robert led the way for us offensively to put us up at the half,” said assistant coach Adam Vinson. “Robert and Kelveyun put on a clinic on defense, holding Ballard’s leading scorers to 13 total points.”
