The score was tied at 8 after one quarter and Henry led 24-20 at halftime. The big 3rd quarter run made it 40-25 heading into the fourth quarter.
Spalding (0-2, 0-2) outscored Henry Co. 11-4 in the fourth quarter, but it was a little too late.
“We lost, but I’m proud of the girls’ effort against Henry Co.,” said Lady Jags head coach Demetrius King.
Dee Dee Matthews led SHS with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks and Shaquoria Reid added 10 points, 4 assists and 3 steals.
