“He ran a stop sign at Sixth (Street) and County Line Road,” Spalding County Coroner Sonny Foster said.
Another vehicle, which Foster described as a sport utilty vehicle, struck Sullins’ Dakota pickup truck at about 12:45 a.m. Thursday. Sullins was not wearing his seat belt. He was not ejected, but he died instantly in the pickup.
Two people from the other vehicle were injured and hospitalized. Foster believes one of them suffered a broken collarbone.
“It’s just an unfortunate situation where we lost another young person to another traffic fatality,” Foster said.
