Two women were killed in traffic accidents Saturday morning off of Georgia Highway 92.

Deborah Hall, 48, of Fayette County, “was killed instantly,” said Spalding County Coroner Sonny Foster, after her Saturn struck a Dodge Dually pickup head on.

The second accident occurred in the area of Highway 92 and Vaughn Road between West McIntosh and West Ellis roads. Foster said Misty Kimbell, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene.

If I'm not mistaken the one on 92 just past jim goodson rd was a saturn and a dodge dully. that was deborah hall. She is my (Sister). I hate that section of road I have friends that live there and have hade a co-worker overturn a dump truck there. the least they could do is to place a light there to let you know there is traffic comming.A red light would be nice.

sable1626 you are so right, I was telling someone yesterday how many fatal accident I can remember that were in that one area of 92 hwy, I know there are some I dont remember. It is dangerous, and yes the police that hide there at living waters are doing the SAME thing the sherrifs deputies do on Vineyard Rd in that little clearing, nothing. something has needed to change with the sherrifs dept, for a while now, I hope for the better. Vineyard rd is also a dangerous one, people need to slow down and remember to live and let live!

My husband and I came upon the scene of the accident on highway 92 on Saturday morning, October 1st, just moments after it occurred. We were saddened when the hearse arrived and we realized there was a fatality. It was a beautiful fall day and Misty Kimball at age 31, was too young to die. Our deepest sympathy to Misty Kimball's family and friends. Life is so fragile. We should thank God for each day we're allowed to live and breathe His air.

Cars going North on 92 Highway after they leave the Wal*Mart shopping area are going too fast for this congested area. Please, please change the speed limit in this area before we have more deaths. People leaving out of Hallmark Drive and the other streets are risking their life everytime they pull out to cross 92 and head back toward town. Not only do you have to watch for speeding cars headed North but they are also speeding headed toward Wal*Mart.

It is only a matter of time before there is going to be an awful accident in this area. Please do something about the speed in this very congested area now before someone is killed. You can't say you didn't know there was a problem in this area of 92 Highway.

First I would like to say that I am so very sorry that there are people here in our community that have lost loved ones!!! I really pray that this will show our local Sheriff's Department that we have a HUGE problem on 92 Hwy!!!

I have the pleasure of living right off of 92 Hwy and I have to get onto 92 every day... It makes me so mad that NEVER do you see anyone from the sheriff's office patroling this area for speeders! Instead they hide behind Living Waters Church on 92... Doing what? Who knows? It isn't shooting radar! I see them alot in the mornings behind the church facing 92.. while I am in the slow lane... the cars in the fast lane speeding by as they are entering a school zone! I have never seen them pulling anyone over for that!! Now the GSP is a totally different story!! These guys LOVE 92 by Living Waters Church and might I add... that they LOVE writing tickets!!!! My thoughts on the situation is... why don't the sheriff's department leave the speeding there to the GSP (being how they are actually patroling) and that would free up alot of time for the SCSD to sit... I don't know... maybe in the parking lot at "LIGHT HOUSE BAPTIST" church and start slowing these speed demons down!!! I have a small child and I am a nervous wreck EVERY morning having to pull out onto 92 Hwy!! I know that everyone seems so concerned with the Sheriff election right now... but hey guys.... the people that pay the taxes in Spalding County... have a voice also.... So why don't we get some patrolmen out and start writing some tickets to send a message to the maniacs that are flying down 92 day in and day out!!!!
