As officers arrived at the scene, they observed a large crowd of students who had gathered to watch the fight. After forcing their way through those students, police cleared out the hallway and sent them back to their classes.
The first student involved in the fight stated that she was having problems with the other student and received messages on Facebook from her a day earlier in which the other student said she wanted to fight.
The first student further stated that she, too, wanted to fight and that it was a “mutual combat” between them.
Police officers then spoke to the second student, who stated that the other student came up to her and started fighting. However, the second student reportedly did not want to talk to police and did not finish her statement in reference to what took place.
Both students were charged with affray and disrupting of a public school. They were then released to their parents due to them being juveniles.
