Today is the last day for early voting.

Early voting for the July 31 general primary and non-partisan election ends at 5 p.m. today. Early voting today will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 825 Memorial Drive, next to the old Food Depot site in the Memorial Drive Plaza.

After that time, anyone wanting to cast a ballot in the election will have to do so on Tuesday, July 31, at their assigned polling place, said Elections Supervisor Terry Colling.

Polling place information and sample ballots can be viewed at www.sos.ga.gov. Click on My Voter Page (MVP) and enter requested information, Colling explained.

Registered voters are required to present photo ID when casting a ballot in person, she said, Voters will be asked to select one of three ballot types — non-partisan, Democratic or Republican, said Colling, but all non-partisan candidates and the T-SPLOST special election are on the partisan ballots as well.

For more information, call the Spalding County Office of Elections and Voter Registration at 770-467-4245.
