When police officers arrived at the scene, they made contact with the victim — a 48-year-old female — who told them she left for work in the morning and saw her flatscreen TV missing from the living room when she returned in the afternoon. A later check of the house also revealed that the victim’s Microsoft Xbox was taken along with multiple games.
According to a GPD incident report, the victim stated that, after calling police, she noticed that the east side exterior window of the house was the entry point for the burglar. She added that she often leaves her window up to ventilate the house, though all window screens are in place. The window in question, however, had the screen cut out and was left hanging outside the wall.
