Devontae Freeman scored two touchdowns and Quindarius Mayes and Orenthian Park Jr. added one each to lead the Spalding County Red Raiders past the Jasper County Hurricanes 30-13 Saturday in SCPRD Junior Division football at Volunteer Park.

Otavius Williams kicked three extra points to further the Red Raiders’ cause.

Deonte Epps and JeTravius Thurman each scored a touchdowns and Jaylin Thurman scored an extra point for the ’Canes.

SATURDAY

Junior Division

(11-12 year olds)

-- Butts County Red Devils #2 14, Spalding County Vikings 13: DeEric Bell scored two touchdowns and run for two extra points in a game where the decisive scored came in the fourth quarter.

LaDarinan Underwood and Demetrice Tarpley  each scord a touchdowns and Tarpley ran for an extra point to lead the Vikings.

n Lamar County Gators 36, Spalding County Eagles 20: Qua Searcy scored four touchdowns and Josh Halfin scored two touchdowns to lead the Gators. Justin Shinholster and DeMarcus Hancock scored an extra point each to further the Gators’ cause.

Temarcus Blanton and Brandon Thomas scored a touchdown each to lead the Eagles.

n Pike County Pirates 13, Spalding County Bulldogs 12: Corey Moss and Chandler Callaway scored a touchdown each and Pennamon Kendarius scored an extra point to lead the Pirates past the Bulldogs.

Jabril Reid and Justin Gordon scored a touchdown each to lead the Bulldogs.

Pee Wee Division

(9-10 year olds)

n Spalding County Chargers 41, Spalding County Patriots 0: Ke’mon Barkley and Jordan Colbert scored two touchdowns each on a day where Jordan Clemons and Deshawn Johnson also scored a touchdown apiece. Terrance Harris and Chardarius Fambro scored two extra points each and Colbert added another to further the Chargers’ cause.

n Jasper County Hurricanes 12, Spalding County Steelers 8: Lane Thomas scored two touchdowns to lead the Hurricanes. Anforne Stroud scored once and kicked an extra point to lead the Steelers.

n Spalding County Saints 24, Spalding County Broncos 0: Micah Cochran, David O’Neal, Nicholas Cochran and Zakobe Harris each scored a touchdown for the Saints. Adrian Fish kicked an extra point to further the Saints’ cause.

Mite Division

(7-8 year olds)

n Spalding County Red Raiders 26, Spalding County Seahawks 0: Tyson Parks scored two touchdowns and Isreal Thomas, Emonei Bruce scored one each to lead the Red Raiders. Parks and Raequan Harris each scored an extra point to further the Red Raiders’ cause.

n Spalding County Falcons 27, Jasper County Hurricanes 0: Davis Daniel, Nautica Watson, Tylan Morton and Aamir Marshall each scroed a touchdown to lead the Falcons. Morton ran in and extra point and kicked another to further the Falcons’ cause.

n Spalding County Packers 27, Spalding County Dolphins 0: Lamont Calloway scored two touchdowns and Rudolphus Willis and Jaclyn Parks scored a touchdown each to lead the Packers. Willis, Corderius Hastings and  Aaron Catlin score an extra point each to further the Packers’ cause.
