The Griffin-Spalding County Board of Education, at its regular meeting Tuesday, unanimously approved funding for the purchase of 180 projectors for the 21st Century Classroom project. Each of the local schools will receive 10 projectors.

The cost of the purchase — $80,458.20 — will be covered by funds from the education SPLOST IV money. Spalding County voters approved SPLOST IV in March.
