Vashtaz Rowe, 51, owner of Paparazzi Lounge at 507 North Expressway in Griffin, was arrested Saturday and charged with nine counts of contributing to the delinquency of minors, nine counts of providing alcohol to minors and one count of dispensing alcohol without a license, according to a news release from the Griffin Police Department.

The Paparazzi Lounge recently had its alcohol license revoked when it was discovered that Rowe had applied for the permit under false pretenses.

Patrolman Matt McFarlan, patrolman Kaylen Krueger and Cpl. Allen Burleson entered the business in response to a complaint about the establishment serving alcohol and allowing behavior involving nudity. Officers observed violations of the state alcohol laws, noting open cans of beer and an open container of liquor. They did not locate evidence of undressed customers or employees.

Officers also observed that 12 of the 18 customers appeared to be under the age of 21. The majority of the underage customers admitted to consuming alcohol and agreed to take breath tests requested by the officers. The results indicated that nine of the underage customers had consumed an alcoholic beverage. Two of those nine were under the age of 17.

The following individuals were charged with underage possession of alcohol: Randall Chase Smith, Brad Festerman, Nathan Lanier Brown, Ferrari Luangkhot, Amber Justine Galloway and Amanda Jade Steward. The Griffin Police Department did not release the names of the remaining two individuals due to the fact that they are under the age of 17.

Seesalot cannot see so well. Read the article again. Nowhere did it mention Dee Stewart and the Spalding County Police ( no such thing exists). These arrests were made by The Griffin Police Department.
