Cynthia Rose Coker, 66, of Chicago, passed away after a brief illness surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012. Born on Sept. 23, 1946 in Hampton, Cynthia was the daughter of the late Oscar Newton and Rose (Hand) Coker.

After attending Griffin High School and Middle Georgia Junior College, she became a Delta Airline stewardess, and was stationed in the Chicagoland area where she continued to live until her death. Cynthia worked in real estate for almost 30 years for Edward Skae and Coldwell Banker in Lake Forest, IL. She was a member of the English Speaking Union and a frequent traveler to Great Britain. She loved to decorate and entertain and was always the perfect hostess and guest. She was a wonderful student of life and was always trying to do or learn something new. She was also a new member at the First United Methodist Church in Evanston, Ill.

She is survived by her two sisters Elaine (Charles) Daniel and Deborah (Kenneth) McCombs; her daughter Courtney (Chris) Pitt and son Jay Mathew (Mary) Guditis; her grandchildren Grayson and Bronwyn Pitt and Nicolas and Nathan Guditis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held with a viewing on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough from 4-6 p.m. and service on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012 at Hampton United Methodist Church, Hampton at 11 a.m. A memorial service in Chicago will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hampton United Methodist Church or the English-Speaking Union -Chicago Branch.

Mr. Carl H. Brooks

Sept. 27, 1939—Nov. 15, 2012

Mr. Carl H. Brooks, 73, passed away Thursday November 15, 2012, in Brightmoor Hospice.

Mr. Brooks was born in Brooks Sept. 27, 1939, to the late Carl F. Brooks and Rubye Hardy Brooks. He retired from Thomaston Mills having worked for 36 years.

Survivors include his brother Frank Brooks and wife Shirley of Brooks; sister Louise Truett and husband Jack of Florida; nephews, Frank Brooks Jr. and Jack Truett Jr.; nieces, Sharon Keiser and Kim Balch; several great nephews, great nieces cousins and other family and friends also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Carl H. Brooks will be conducted on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home with Carol Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in County Line Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service hour.

Mrs. Donna McKinley Kiblinger, 70, of Zebulon, passed away Nov. 16 at her home. She was born on Jan. 1, 1942 to the late Sim H. McKinley and Carolyn McCord McKinley. She was a 1959 graduate of Pike County High School. For 30 years, she was employed by the J. Joel Edwards family businesses having retired as the Williamson Branch Manager of United Bank. She was an active and beloved member of The Church of Joy. Her life was spent loving and caring for others, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Carl Kiblinger; children and their spouses, Beth and Mark Knight of McDonough, Rolanda and Tim Bell of Zebulon, David and Kay Kiblinger of Stockbridge, Vickie and Beria Orr of Senoia; grandchildren, Landon, Luke, Ryan and Morgan Knight, Addie, Payton and Preslee Bell, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Laura Beth and Joshua Kiblinger, Alexis Zeigler, Beria Jr., Amy and Amelia Orr; sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and Walter Coulon and niece Cheryl Coulon of Huntsville, Ala.; aunt and uncle, Bess and Harold Williams of Zebulon.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, Nov. 18 at 3 p.m. in The Church of Joy with Pastors Ron Laney and Vaughn Drawdy officiating. Interment will follow in the Zebulon First Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, from 4-7 p.m., at the funeral home. Mr. Fred Frank Morrow, age 86 of Griffin, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2012.

Mr. Morrow was born in Cleburne County, Alabama on May 1, 1926. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred Frank Morrow, Sr. and Maudie Green Morrow; brothers, R.J. Morrow, Eugene Morrow, Grady Morrow, Douglas Morrow; sisters, Lorene Plaze, Marie Ferguson, Mary Flynn. Mr. Morrow retired from Southern States and was a member of Orchard Hill Baptist Church. He was a veteran of The United States Navy having served in World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Morrow; sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Joyce Combs Morrow, Roger and Georganna Buoch Morrow, 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Carl Morrow, Earl Morrow, Leonard Morrow; numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to say special thank you to Christian Ministries Hospice.

Visitation for Mr. Fred Frank Morrow will be on Sunday, November 18, 2012 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and following the visitation, funeral services will conducted in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.
