Mrs. Corley was born on Jan. 29, 1925, in Fayette County, Ga., to the late Willie Smith and the late Lois Mitchell Smith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bartow Corley. Mrs. Corley attended Sunnyside United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Corley is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Ray and Bonnie Corley, Pete and Jeanette Corley; grandchildren, Cliff, Mike, Wade, Brian, Tammy; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas Smith; and sister, Barbara Smith.
Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Ruth Corley will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010, in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. The Rev. David Sanders will officiate. Interment will follow in West Sunnyside Community Church Cemetery. Friends may visit the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
