Jeffery Eugene Coile, of Griffin, was on Tuesday bound over to stand trial in Spalding County Superior Court on a host of family violence-related charges stemming from a Feb. 1 incident at the 728 E. McIntosh Road residence of Precious Amanda Madden, the mother of two of the defendant’s children.

“Upon arrival, I made contact with a Precious Madden, who stated that an ex of hers was trying to kick in a side door of her house, and in the process, broke a window out,” said Deputy Randy McElroy, of the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Division.

McElroy also testified that when he was unable to gain entry to Madden’s home at that door, Coile attempted to enter a second side door by striking it with a hammer.
