The victim, age 35, told police he and two friends exited the store after purchasing a few items and noticed a 16-year-old and several other people standing outside. The victim told police that while he was walking to his car he had a verbal altercation with those standing outside.
According to the incident report, the 16-year-old and the others were angry because they did not like the way the victim looked at them. The victim and his friends got into a car and the other individuals came over to the car, continuing the verbal altercation and directing profanity toward the victim.
