Senior Tedra Alford led Griffin with 32 points on senior night, helping lead the Lady Bears to sweep the Forest Park Lady Panthers 66-61 Friday night in Region 4-AAAA action at The House.
Third-place Griffin improved to 11-7 overall and 10-5 in the region as it won for the fourth time in the last five games. Makenda Lindsey aded 13 points and Aneesah head chipped in 12 for the Lady Bears.
Sixth-place Forest Park (11-12, 7-8) lost its second in a row.
