The Griffin Police Department (GPD) responded to a location on Realty Street Sunday in reference to a person being attacked on Anne Street, in front of Heritage Apartment, by three black males.

According to a GPD incident report, the victim— a 46-year-old male — told police the three suspects came to his residence and began yelling at him, accusing him of kidnapping and sexually abusing a child that had gone missing the day before.

After the three suspects had left, the victim reportedly went to his girlfriend’s house on West College Street and then to another friend’s house in the area of Anne Street.
