Spalding County will be discussing a variety of personnel issues Monday night.

The board is scheduled to discuss a couple of issues raised by the employees during budget considerations. The budget committee, comprised department managers, recommended an employee incentive program and longevity pay, and commissioners are scheduled to discuss criteria for that.

There’s also an executive (closed) session to discuss or deliberate on the appointment, employment, compensation, hiring, disciplinary action or dismissal, or periodic evaluation or rating of a county officer or employee as provided in by state law.

Any action taken would have to voted in public.
