On Thursday afternoon, City of Griffin Code Enforcement cited James David Parker, 52, of Meriwether Ready Mix, with illicit discharge of concrete into a storm drain by The Dairy subdivision. He was cited about 1:15 p.m., and according to the citation, instructed to clean out the drain from rock and concrete.
Parker also has a City of Griffin Municipal Court date of Jan. 13, 2013, for the citation.
A resident in the area notified the newspaper and City of Griffin Public Works of the illegal dumping.
