Griffin honored two long-time employees for their 25 years of service to the city.

Griffin Fire Chief Tommy Jones and Water Distribution Construction and Maintenance Supervisor Terry Parker were each recognized at Tuesday’s City Commission meeting, with their respective supervisors presenting them with awards for 25 years of service in their departments before their families and co-workers.

Both families were also thanked as these jobs take the men away from home at all hours of the day and night.
