“Brian has been with us for 10 years,” said Griffin Public Works Director Brant Keller. “He’s one of those computer guys you never see until you need him.”
Keller said Haynes is keeper of the stormwater utility, constantly updating the files. “He provides excellent external customer service, and works internally with several departments, including police, fire, utilities billing.”
In Haynes’ nomination by his supervisor Jeff Stanley, he was credited with finding the city tens of thousands of dollars in revenue which was not being billed correctly regarding the stormwater utility.
