Dr. Daniel Todd wants to provide the best care possible to his patients, even though they have tails and are covered in fur.
Todd is the owner of Mount Berry Animal Hospital on Martha Berry Highway in Rome.
“People bring their pets back to us because of the compassion and quality of care,” he said.
Another draw that keeps furry friends and their masters coming back visit after their visits is the staff’s knowledge and state-of-the art equipment.
“I am a gadget guy,” said Todd. “We have the most modern equipment. It is top surgical equipment with full-color ultrasound. This is stuff you wouldn’t see in a human hospital.”
Todd said he and his staff are committed to providing the absolute best care that can be given to the animals.
“I’m not satisfied until you’re satisfied,” he said.
Todd says he spends time educating owners on how to take care of their pets.
“I want to make sure you know what’s going on,” he said.
He uses a computer system in all five of his exam rooms that show color images of what afflictions the animals might have.
“Pets are family members,” Todd said. “We want to take the best care of them.”
